Danflon is Dantec’s premium high-quality range of composite hoses. They are lined as standard, with ETFE (Ethylene tetra fluoro ethylene).
This is a high tech fluropolymer very similar to the more commonly known PTFE (Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene) in its broad-spectrum chemical resistance but with the added advantage of high mechanical strength and low permeability.
Typical applications are aggressive acids and those chemicals that attack polypropylene.
Danflon is available with an inner and outer wire helix in 316 stainless steel or galvanised steel. Regular version of the Danflon is rated to maximum temperature of 100°C and in addition to the ETFE liner, is reinforced with polypropylene.
A high temperature version of the Danflon is also available with a working temperature of 160°C this hoses is reinforced with Polyester instead and is identified with an closing A (Danflon GGA, Danflon SGA, Danflon SSA).
PTFE lined version of the Danflon hoses are also available and distinguished with the letter PT after the Danflon (Danflon PTGG, Danflon PTSG, Danflon PTSS)
Hose is available in Standard Duty and Heavy Duty.
Standard duty is used in applications such as plant transfers, road tanker use and rail tanker unloading.
The heavy-duty version of the Danflon is used as the trusted cargo hoses by many of the world’s leading marine companies, due to its robust construction and wide chemical resistance.
